Day-by-Day Itinerary

Nairobi to Maasai Mara
After breakfast your guide collects you in Nairobi and you set off through the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara, arriving for lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the Mara's famous plains and their resident lion prides.

Full Day in the Maasai Mara
A full day exploring the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five, cheetah and — in season — the Great Migration river crossings. Optional dawn hot-air balloon safari.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Drive north to Lake Nakuru National Park, a rhino sanctuary ringed by flamingo-lined shores. An afternoon game drive targets black and white rhino, lion and Rothschild's giraffe.

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli
A scenic transfer south past Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive among large elephant herds beneath Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli to Tsavo West
Morning game drive with sunrise views of Kilimanjaro before driving to Tsavo West National Park. Visit the crystal-clear Mzima Springs and enjoy an evening game drive in this dramatic volcanic landscape.

Tsavo West to Tsavo East
Cross into Tsavo East, famous for its "red elephants" and vast open horizons. Game drives along the Galana River reveal elephant, lion, giraffe and abundant plains game.

Tsavo East to Nairobi / Mombasa
A final morning game drive before departure. Your guide drops you in Nairobi or at Mombasa / Diani for onward travel, filled with a lifetime of memories.
